As a survivor of childhood violence (mental, emotional, and physical), I spent years working to recover. In my ‘healing journey’ I have tried many different modalities. Not only was I impressed with the efficacy of Reconnective Healing, but I was so pleased at the simplicity of it.
I met Sharon at a Healing Fair in Springfield, MO. She took my hand and said feel this, and I did. I immediately felt energy moving within me. After 5 mins on her table and feeling Sharon “pull” my energy, I knew I wanted to book sessions with her. Sharon did not have me explain anything, remember anything, or describe anything. Rather, she just said ‘lay down and we will see what happens’. That allowed me to just be, and not revisit any of the injuries. I was able to just feel it all go away.
Each of the three sessions with her (and another one conducted at a distance) elicited real physical responses to her work. From a Spiritual perspective, these sessions changed me. It shifted my whole spiritual perspective and experience. Feeling the energy increase in my body, and move from place to place was palpable. I have suffered from multiple knee injuries and surgeries over a span of 17 years. I have endured 3 traumatic c-section births. Throughout my life I have experienced chronic pain, trauma, abuse, abortion, addiction, and most recently post partum depression and anxiety. My husband and I had been trying to have kids on and off for four years. I tried many doctors and all their recommended strategies, exercising, eating right, losing weight (lost 30 lbs) taking my temperature daily. Let me start out by saying I have known Sharon Johnson for years solely on a professional basis; but, I know she has a passion to help others and had been open to God using her!
Sharon called me to set her tax appointment. I told her I felt rotten. Trusting her advice to participate in a distance Reconnective Healing session, I lay down and she asked me to just be an observer what I felt on the inside/outside of my body. She didn’t want to know my issues. I was suffering from a 2-wk head cold, a lump on left side of my head, swollen glands I was worried about and an aching right elbow. She called back in 30 minutes to process what I felt. I told her “I just went really relaxed; but, I couldn’t recall any thing”. She then said “do you have something going on your left temple and right elbow”? Wow! I was amazed as I had revealed nothing to her!

I love alternative holistic methods of healing and being a Reiki Master myself, I was instantly intrigued. Sharon did 2 Reconnective Healing sessions from a distance, for my mother who has been on disability for years, and then 2 sessions for me weeks later as well. My experiences were extremely relaxing and I literally felt like I was getting a whole new right leg when the energies first started flowing through my body. It felt like hands were going up me slowly and healing/ repairing me on a deep level. I also felt a some slight energy around the back of my head, and slight jerking in my forearms and wrists where healing was needed. I feel compelled to send a comment after receiving this series of 4 wonderful Reconnective Healing sessions from you. You clearly have a passion for healing and the love that motivates your sessions was felt by me in each one. In the very first, I entered a deep relaxed state which I know from my experience is a place of healing. In each subsequent session I went even deeper. So much was going on each time. I had many vivid experiences and I took some notes afterward so I can share that.
My fourth session was done remote and was the deepest yet. After you called I lay down on my bed and almost immediately started moving in and out of consciousness.
I had the following experiences: A number of times I felt my stomach gurgling, a sign energy is moving. I began to see pictures in color, like magazine pictures (in the session before that I only saw pictures in black and white). Often upon moving into semi consciousness I had the impression much had been going on in the unconscious state. On one occasion I had the sense my throat was being worked on. On another occasion I felt like something very large encompassing my whole chest and abdomen was being removed – not sure what.
Further experiences: From time to time I felt I was out of my body looking down at myself. During the session my time sense was very distorted and it seemed that everything was happening at such an incredible speed that I could only pick up on fragments and I couldn’t take time to read or focus on the pictures. Also, I had the sense that during the more unconscious times even more was being downloaded into me and healing was taking place.
I had 3 Reconnective Healing sessions with Sharon, two of which were distance sessions! Sharon explained to me that Reconnective Healing brings my body into balance physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually which will help my body with healing as needed!
I had several physical issues, but Sharon did not want to know any issues or details, and asked me to just be open and have no attachment for any particular results. She asked me just to observe what I felt on the inside/outside of my body throughout each 1-hour session. It is amazing what was going on when I quieted my mind and just relaxed and observed during my sessions! Each session was a little different than the one before. Each time I felt a release from different parts of my body. Even during the second session, I felt like an amazing heart cleansing! I believe this can truly reach the root causes of our issues! For eight years, I had suffered from torn rotator cuff issues that still not yet healed after being repaired. Then I suffered a fall, tearing my other rotator. I was told it was "bad" and would be hard to repair. I was anxious about the pain I would have due to years of suffering from first injury. Sharon did a distance session to prepare me for surgery. Children Healing Testimonies
After 3 sessions with Sharon, I noticed my daughter, (who is on the spectrum), started drawing and coloring alot more. Instead of breaking crayons, peeling wrappers, and scribbling "color swatches", she was drawing and coloring actual pictures, even in coloring books!- (which she normally refused to do). She holds her pencil correctly now, as opposed to the "fist grip" of toddler. She insists on helping to do chores or make meals, and is interacting with her older sister much more. She actually went LOOKING for her one morning when big sister got up before she did. -(She's never "looked" for her before). She will even call out for her sister when its time to eat! She is making more of an effort to make actual sentences, and has even started "role playing" with her toys! And -(FINALLY!) -she has stopped waking up at two or three in the morning- everyday- giggling and playing for hours until she falls asleep again.
While it was difficult to notice my younger daughter "connecting " with the energy- (she would not sit still), it was very obvious with her older sister. She quickly entered a calm state, with her eyes moving in a REM-like fashion, and was quite content to stay that way.

I brought my 7 year old daughter for Reconnective Healing in April of 2017. First of all, Sharon does not want to know the issues. Your body knows what to work on and this was very apparent in both sessions she has had, as I had no idea what to expect.
The first session I watched her body start to heal and work through a difficult birth where the cord was wrapped around her neck resulting in physical issues unexplainable by the medical community. We had a natural practitioner say she had issues with her left ear and would eventually need it addressed. After the first session there are no signs of trouble in her ears, along with a tight tongue loosening . It is all so remarkable to watch and see her body begin to heal. She left that session loving the experience and a joyful spirit. I began to see a little more agreeable attitude in my strong willed child and she asked to go back for a session all the time. I was very pleased and amazed with the sessions.
We decided to go back in four months especially because my daughter kept asking to go as I didn’t know what we would need to work on or what the experience would be. This time she worked through a bully situation she had experienced when she was six from a boy classmate. It had been traumatic for her causing nightmares and I thought we had dealt with it and she was fine but she obviously needed to work through that experience and I really feel now that will make her stronger and she won’t have that lingering for years to come like experiences many of us had in childhood. She left that session so happy as she skipped and did a million cartwheels on the sidewalk! I love alternative holistic methods of healing and being a Reiki Master myself, I was instantly intrigued. Sharon did 2 Reconnective Healing sessions from a distance, for my mother who has been on disability for years, and then 2 sessions for me weeks later as well. My experiences were extremely relaxing and I literally felt like I was getting a whole new right leg when the energies first started flowing through my body. It felt like hands were going up me slowly and healing/ repairing me on a deep level. I also felt a some slight energy around the back of my head, and slight jerking in my forearms and wrists where healing was needed. Lastly, during my second session it was the OPPOSITE side of my body that felt the energies and I also felt a coolness on my entire back for about 10 mins helping to repair it. I had suffered a L2 & L3 jagged fracture in my vertaebrae from a car accident years ago. I feel compelled to send a comment after receiving this series of 4 wonderful Reconnective Healing sessions from you. You clearly have a passion for healing and the love that motivates your sessions was felt by me in each one. In the very first, I entered a deep relaxed state which I know from my experience is a place of healing. In each subsequent session I went even deeper. So much was going on each time. I had many vivid experiences and I took some notes afterward so I can share that.
My fourth session was done remote and was the deepest yet. After you called I lay down on my bed and almost immediately started moving in and out of consciousness.
I had the following experiences: A number of times I felt my stomach gurgling, a sign energy is moving. I began to see pictures in color, like magazine pictures (in the session before that I only saw pictures in black and white). Often upon moving into semi consciousness I had the impression much had been going on in the unconscious state. On one occasion I had the sense my throat was being worked on. On another occasion I felt like something very large encompassing my whole chest and abdomen was being removed – not sure what.
Further experiences: From time to time I felt I was out of my body looking down at myself. During the session my time sense was very distorted and it seemed that everything was happening at such an incredible speed that I could only pick up on fragments and I couldn’t take time to read or focus on the pictures. Also, I had the sense that during the more unconscious times even more was being downloaded into me and healing was taking place.
I had 3 Reconnective Healing sessions with Sharon, two of which were distance sessions! Sharon explained to me that Reconnective Healing brings my body into balance physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually which will help my body with healing as needed!
I had several physical issues, but Sharon did not want to know any issues or details, and asked me to just be open and have no attachment for any particular results. She asked me just to observe what I felt on the inside/outside of my body throughout each 1-hour session. It is amazing what was going on when I quieted my mind and just relaxed and observed during my sessions! Each session was a little different than the one before. Each time I felt a release from different parts of my body. Even during the second session, I felt like an amazing heart cleansing! I believe this can truly reach the root causes of our issues! At the end of each session, Sharon asked me to describe my experience. Being able to verbally express what I felt, memories recalled and released truly helped me. Right after I had my 3 sessions, I was sandwiched in a 4-car wreck. So I immediately had 2 distance sessions freeing me of any possible residual effects to my body. I'm amazed now many weeks later how good I feel with many issues healed, especially my knees. For eight years, I had suffered from torn rotator cuff issues that still not yet healed after being repaired. Then I suffered a fall, tearing my other rotator. I was told it was "bad" and would be hard to repair. I was anxious about the pain I would have due to years of suffering from first injury. Sharon did a distance session to prepare me for surgery. After surgery, my wife insisted that I see Sharon and let do her Reconnective Healing work. To my surprise and being skeptical with energy work, I was shocked after my 3 sessions within 2 weeks, that I only experienced 4 days of discomfort and no need to wear the arm sling. In my sessions, both arms seemingly released issues and reconnected so well . After 3 sessions with Sharon, I noticed my daughter, (who is on the spectrum), started drawing and coloring alot more. Instead of breaking crayons, peeling wrappers, and scribbling "color swatches", she was drawing and coloring actual pictures, even in coloring books!- (which she normally refused to do). She holds her pencil correctly now, as opposed to the "fist grip" of toddler. She insists on helping to do chores or make meals, and is interacting with her older sister much more. She actually went LOOKING for her one morning when big sister got up before she did. -(She's never "looked" for her before). She will even call out for her sister when its time to eat! She is making more of an effort to make actual sentences, and has even started "role playing" with her toys! And -(FINALLY!) -she has stopped waking up at two or three in the morning- everyday- giggling and playing for hours until she falls asleep again.
While it was difficult to notice my younger daughter "connecting " with the energy- (she would not sit still), it was very obvious with her older sister. She quickly entered a calm state, with her eyes moving in a REM-like fashion, and was quite content to stay that way.

I brought my 7 year old daughter for Reconnective Healing in April of 2017. First of all, Sharon does not want to know the issues. Your body knows what to work on and this was very apparent in both sessions she has had, as I had no idea what to expect.
The first session I watched her body start to heal and work through a difficult birth where the cord was wrapped around her neck resulting in physical issues unexplainable by the medical community. We had a natural practitioner say she had issues with her left ear and would eventually need it addressed. After the first session there are no signs of trouble in her ears, along with a tight tongue loosening . It is all so remarkable to watch and see her body begin to heal. She left that session loving the experience and a joyful spirit. I began to see a little more agreeable attitude in my strong willed child and she asked to go back for a session all the time. I was very pleased and amazed with the sessions.
We decided to go back in four months especially because my daughter kept asking to go as I didn’t know what we would need to work on or what the experience would be. This time she worked through a bully situation she had experienced when she was six from a boy classmate. It had been traumatic for her causing nightmares and I thought we had dealt with it and she was fine but she obviously needed to work through that experience and I really feel now that will make her stronger and she won’t have that lingering for years to come like experiences many of us had in childhood. She left that session so happy as she skipped and did a million cartwheels on the sidewalk! I am so thrilled to know about Sharon and Reconnective Healing and the ability to help with general health and well being of my daughter. She begs to go and I think it’s because she feels so good and I see the sparkle in her eye that children are supposed to have and do not always see in today’s hectic world. Good Morning Sharon, My Sadie (a Pomeranian) had been in and out of the vet for over 3 weeks with an unexplained cough, fever, difficulty breathing and a collapsed trachea.
